What Tony Morgan learned from Disney World

This is going to be short and sweet.

How pumped am I that YOU are reaching people, walking across the room all at the expense of making yourselves extremely uncomfortable in the process? Let me tell you that your stories are the stuff that keeps me rockin' for Jesus.

So, what's this all about?

Why is Mike P blogging?"

Good question. Why is Mike P blogging?

Do i not have enough to do? Am i not busy? Has life slowed down? Am i bored and needed a way to waste some time? No, No, No and No.

Why am i doing this then? Glad you asked - here's why:

1. Because i often have stuff to say.

   My "inner-circle", my "Peter, James & John" often carry the burden (what can i say - they tolerate me) of hearing my rants. We talk about everything. We talk life, people, sports, music, church. Mostly we talk about Jesus. We are often amazed at the change that He's made in our lives.
   
   I am so perplexed at why "church people" seem to be so overworked, overtired and overstressed. They have lost purpose in their lives because they are undernourished in their spirit. They have become accustomed to aimlessly wandering through life (sadly existing) and are missing the fact that God wants us to live a full life WITH Him! WholeHearted living is the opposite of this - This is what the WholeHeartedLife is all about - living passionately on the edge for Jesus!
   
   My plan is to weekly (maybe 2 times per week) share the stuff that's on my heart that we might discuss and grow in our knowledge of Christ as well as ourselves.

2. i really want to share some great books and music with my friends!
   
   i read. i sometimes read a lot. i read to learn, i read to grow, i read for entertainment. If i start a book and can't seem to "get it", i try again; if i still can't "get it", i get something else and start it. With this site i'll review books - some great, some not-so great. I'm sure that you'll point me to many i haven't read.
   
   i also LOVE music! Always have. I'm an 80's rocker at heart and although "those days are gone forever" (don henley) i love to discuss and share music. Most of my listening today revolves in the worship realm as well as contemporary Christian at times but i'm always aware of what's going on around me. I'll do music reviews (however biased they may be).

3. i want to stimulate conversation.
   
   i want to challenge people to think. i want people to talk - to talk a lot. i want people to discuss what's important to them. This thought is the way i'll approach this blog.
   
   Some post will be about God. Some post will be about me. Some post will be about church. Many post will probably involve my family. I'm just gonna say what's on my mind. Who knows what may come out.
   
4. i love reading other people's blogs!
   
   i love reading what's on people's minds because ultimately you see their heart. Most blogs are passionate and they should be - if they aren't passionate and insightful why would anyone take the time to read it? i doubt i'll ever be even a fraction as insightful as the people i often read but the truth is i'm writing this stuff anyway - i might as well share it. If you're feelin' me you'll keep reading, if you aren't you'll stop... IT'S ALL GOOD!
