Did you see Steve Smith take apart the 2nd best defense in the NFL yesterday afternoon? I have to admit, I was a little worried that Baltimore was gonna get the best of us but when I got home from lunch, picking up the game coming close to halftime, I was relieved that we had obviously stood strong.

Which reminds me...

I grew up a Cowboys fan. Had the Tony Dorsett jersey, the sheets and comforter for the bed, the watch. I couldn't stand the Redskins or John Riggins (whom my dad pulled for probably just to be on the opposite side of me...) I loved the Cowboys.

Then came the 90's. For those of you in the Carolinas that didn't hear, we got our own team - the Panthers and by the way, they're pretty good. I have a bunch of friends who never made the switch - they're still pulling for Washington and Dallas. Come on ya'll, it's time to choose (you thought i was referring to Dueteronomy with the title, didn't you? I'm just in the mood to have some fun...)

All you NC Redskins fans, it's time to "come home" and support the home team. Oh, and on November 26th Mark Brunell will probably meet Julius Peppers once again. All of our NC Cowboys fans, remember Steve Smith? If not, October 29th will reintroduce you.

I hope everyone's starting the week right; football out of the way, now, let's live out the life that we were created to live - a life that makes a difference. Later.
