Do You Know Someone?

Yesterday i posted a message on the "Sunday's Coming" message board - if you're a hyde park reader you might have seen it - it read:

On April 19th hyde park will participate in Operation Inasmuch, a one-day missions "blitz" taking place all over North Carolina.

This will be great!!!!

Here's a question for all of our trusted Sunday's Coming readers:
Do you know a family IN NEED that could be the beneficiary of a project on that day? Here are the qualifications:
Must own their home and You personally know of their situation.

If you have a suggestion, send it to me.

Please don't speak to the people that you are suggesting - we will be evaluating the situations - if they're chosen we want it to be a surprise (a la Home Makeover).

Now, when I posted this I braced myself because I thought that I would be bombarded with suggestions, "who will we pick" - "what is the strongest criteria" - "man, this is gonna be hard"...

Imagine my surprise when I received no suggestions - I wonder why? Do we not know anyone in need or just out of the loop? Either way, hope you'll help us that we might all help someone. We want to share the "Revolutionary Love" of JESUS with someone in our community in an unbelievable and tangible way.

You know, I was thinking this afternoon how much i appreciate all of you - REALLY.

i AM so blessed to be able to serve with you at hyde park - your patience with me - your love demonstrated towards me - your willingness to trust me as a leader - your acceptance to go "outside of the box" in order to reach people for JESUS...

The next 2 months are going to take us to another level - we've come to a place where we are about to take a serious shot at impacting this region with the Gospel, literally, and it's gonna take all of us...

The "Revolutionary Love" of JESUS has absolutely changed my life - what about you? It's that Love, living in me, which shows me that being His disciple means more than going to church every week and living by a code of ethics...Being a follower of JESUS is more than a way of living, it's a mission - a movement. His power living in me lets me know (and see) that He has strategically placed you and I here during this moment in time. I believe, in JESUS, that we are getting ready to experience stuff that others believe are impossible.
