I am really pumped about the weekend - last week was just supernatural. I have had conversations all week long with people about lives that are being changed by Jesus through Vertical Church.
With this thought in mind I just wanted to let you know that I am just as jacked about Week 2 of Intervention this weekend. I have such a heart for people who feel like they can't come to church. People who believe in God but also feel like they are outcasts are important to God - This weekend's message is dedicated to them. You can be the difference maker in their lives.
I'm thankful that Jesus is in the intervention business. I'm thankful that He intervened in my life.
Also, I'm looking forward to VERGE Partnership Class on Sunday evening. VERGE is the way that people join Vertical and I always look forward to meeting new people at VC. More info on Verge here.

I was thinking today of the child playing hide and go seek illustration. When were counting, our eyes are completely closed, and were just going through the motions of life (counting) but then we say "Ready or not here I come..." I can imagine Jesus shouting "Here I am...can you see me?...Wait...I'll come to you." He is the shepherd who came to seek and save those who are lost.

That's a good word David! Isn't it amazing that the Holy Living God would call out to His creation, fallen and broken, in this way? Thank Jesus for Intervention!
