Sunday Nite
What a day we had today! Unbelievable!
- We were blessed to have Joe Sangl with us today for the final week of "Mad Money". (that's Joe teaching this afternoon). This guy's passion for people getting their finances right that they might be better stewards of "the other 90 %" is nothing short of revolutionary! What a great job Joe did in all 3 services - check out his message here by Monday evening.
- This afternoon we had 82 people take the "Financial Life Experience" and man are "ON FIRE!". We had a great time figuring out how to make our money work for us that we might use it to worship JESUS!
- I am so ready to get to work on figuring out my "Debt Freedom Date"! I will be sharing "Freedom Reports" with you periodically.
- God has been on me personally about this area in my life for 2 years - it's not been a "want to" issue, it's more been about developing a plan to make it happen. I believe today was an "I.H.H.E" moment for us (i have had enough!). I want to fix this area of my life that i might speak with authority in it.
- Can you imagine what would happen if most or all of the people there today "got free" financially? What kind of an impact would that make?
- On another note, the services were pretty smokin' today! I love our band... our singers... our people... our church! Thank You, Lord, for allowing me to serve at hp!
- Dude, when I shared today that Joe's church, NewSpring, has over 8,500 per week in a town the size of Lumberton I was emboldened even greater than i already am - GOD IS GOING TO DO THE MOST AMAZING THING IN OUR REGION! You don't have to believe it because I KNOW IT!
- Did i tell you yet that next Sunday is a "can't miss day"?
- We've titled next Sunday's service, "Last Will". In the 9 years i've been at hyde park we have NEVER had a morning worship experience like this (and considering everything that we've done that is a HUGE statement).
- At the end of "Last Will" we're gonna do something that will change us - I believe it will have a "ripple effect" that will shake throughout this region! Curious? Like i said, "you gotta be here!"
- If you think i'm blowin' smoke and blow off next Sunday you will be sorry
- I am so diggin' Lee McDerment's new CD - check it out here! Man - great to hear rockin' music that lifts my JESUS so high...
- I cannot believe that Easter is only 2 weeks away...unbelievable.
- ...and speaking of Easter - Easter Sunday is the "MADE" kickoff - I challenge every WholeHearted reader to invite at least 2 people to an Easter Worship Experience. WHO are you inviting this Easter?
- ...and one more thing about Easter - The plans we have will absolutely be life-altering for so many - Lord, I can't wait!!!
